X2 Design
  • To help commemorate the company's 20th year, X2 Design's modest photographic team headed off to shoot four Telstra Super members in Perth, Darwin, Melbourne and the Clare Valley. The resulting images show what can be achieved with passion and vision.
  • Chapel Street tapas bar Cha Chas needed an identity to conjure up all things Spain. Hand painted 'Miro'esque illustrations in a palette of red, white and black provided the perfect flavour and were applied to floors, signage, menus and cards.
  • A super performance. Such was the sentiment for Telstra Super's Annual Report. To visualise this theme, X2 Design sourced and photographed a troupe of ballroom dancers - whose flair and fervour is deliciously palpable in these 'slice of life' images.
  • The Fresh Flower Man offers up some of the most beautiful blooms in Melbourne. X2 Design art directed one of Australia's most respected lifestyle photographers to craft an exquisite bouquet of images for web, print and environmental applications.
  • The year's theme was Passion - with X2 Design choosing to reflect this sentiment in the face paint members chose to wear. From a crazed Kiss fan to an indigenous dancer, images are suggestive of the range of Telstra Super members' unique needs.
  • US company Fox River was wanting a promotional piece to showcase the company's diverse range of specialty papers.  The team at X2 Design illustrated and wrote 'A Fox by Fox River ' - a children's book that charmed both kids and grown ups alike.
  • Designed and sourced in Indonesia, Carina Sherlock Homewares resonate with all the warmth of Bali. X2 Design art directed and co-ordinated a photographic team to create a lush mix of lifestyle images for use in brochures, trade shows and on the website.
  • Exotic rug and lighting company Tsar exudes glamour, glamour and more glamour. X2 Design interpreted this sentiment with a range of photographic imagery suggesting both the bejewelled dazzle of the Russian monarchy and the opulence of  Moorish mosaics.
  • 50's Latino band, Bella Ciao wanted an image reminiscent of the oversized Italian coffeehouse posters. X2 Design's in-house illustrator characterised the band members for use on CD covers, in advertising and on the Bella Ciao website.
  • Classical and Latin guitarist Sergio had the perfect sound but little in the way of imagery. X2 Design selected and art directed a bespoke photographic team to create a collection of ethereal images reflecting the emotion and sensuality of his music.
  • From bespoke birthday cards to website animations, illustration allows us to create all sorts of cool things at X2 Design. Sometimes for clients, sometimes just for fun, we're constantly drawing upon drawing as yet another way to be creative.
